For too long, Americans have been burdened wondering if they can afford groceries to feed their family, fill their car up with gas, or pay for the next doctor’s office visit. As your representative in Austin, I will make sure Texas continues to lower taxes, encourage innovation, and bring financial peace of mind back to Texans.
During my four years defending our border with Operation Lone Star, I witnessed thousands of attempted illegal alien crossings and have seen firsthand the harmful impact that open border policies left on our communities. Under stricter border policies, we have seen a significant improvement in our border security, however the mission is not over. Texas, and the rest of our southern border, need strong defenders to codify policies that prohibit harmful criminals from illegally entering our country and protect the safety of our local communities.
Our education system cannot be a one-size-fits-all approach. When we equip students with the tools they need to succeed, the positive impact is seen far beyond the classroom. This means empowering parents to make the best choice for their children, expanding learning options, investing in teachers, and making sure that every student, no matter their zip code, has access to the resources they need.
Every community deserves access to proper healthcare. Just as I have fought to defend our freedoms at home and abroad, I will continue to fight in the Texas House to make sure these freedoms include access to affordable healthcare to ensure our families have the peace of mind and quality of life that they deserve.
Everything is bigger in Texas - including its infrastructure needs. As the leading state in exports, and the best state to do business, it is critical that Texas maintains reliable energy, roads, and water infrastructure. Under Governor Abbott’s leadership, we have seen Texas-sized strides made to improve critical structures across the Lone Star State, and I look forward to the opportunity to bring even more of these investment opportunities to House District 74.
